As our Process Development Engineer, our laboratory is your favorite place to work: you perform lab tests and support the manufacturing in both upstream and downstream activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on execution of all aspects of recombinant protein production and purification.
- Perform analytical methods to monitor productivity, purity, and quality.
- Support upstream and downstream process development activities including technology development, buffer development, and process optimization studies.
- Interpret data and deliver technical reports in a timely manner.
- Identify technical and scientific issues and implement creative solutions.
- Ensure high quality documentation.
- Follow up on the latest scientific insights in your field of expertise
- Perform a diversity of molecular biology techniques
- Mammalian cell culture and plant growth
- Aseptic processing
- Purification and analytical testing
- Engage in a broad range of activities in order to grow simAbs into a strong and reliable partner for future clients.
Profile
Education:
Master Degree or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Lab Technology or equivalent through relevant experience. Ideally you already have +/- 3 to 5 years of working experience.
